Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactTo tell you the truth, I had a really very hard time trying to figure out how to write a critique for this piece. Critiques should have a balance of both negative and positive aspects to point out, but I really can't find much negative things to say (and that's kind of rare, haha).
I love absolutely everything about this piece. From the girl's sorrowful expression, to the details of her rings and nails, the folds and drapery..everything. Even though they're subtle, the greens and reds that you used give a wonderful contrast to the sepia tones.
If I absolutely had to pick something to improve on, I'd say to maybe add more shading. I think the piece looks fine as it is, but could maybe have more depth if it had more shadow and light.
